Interview Process

Because it indicates the student’s potential to thrive in our arts-infused teaching environment, the essential element we seek is a demonstrated passion for the arts by the student.

After attending an Open House and completing and submitting all required paperwork, you will be scheduled to meet with two faculty members for about 10 minutes. The student will be asked to discuss his or her interest in one or more artistic area to determine the student's level of interest and enthusiasm for the arts.  Faculty members conducting the interview will record a score on a 10-point scale; the points will only be used in the event that we are over-enrolled in a particular grade or artistic area of focus.

Due to weather conditions, the final interview date for the 2017 – 2018 school year has been rescheduled for Saturday, April 1, 2017.  There is now still time to submit a completed application packet to schedule an interview.  Any application (with required documents) received by March 24, 2017 will be scheduled for an interview.
